Alexander D. Henry
Asset Management and Advisory & Acquisition, Disposition & Development
Mr. Henry heads both the asset management and advisory division and the property acquisition, disposition & development division of the Group.
Mr. Henry qualified as a Chartered Accountant while with Deloitte & Touche in Toronto, Ontario. While in public practice Alex lectured and was published in his focused areas of taxation, real estate and corporate finance.
Alex began his career in real estate as an advisor and principal in the syndication and financing of real estate tax shelter vehicles as well as commercial and residential development projects. He organized and managed various tax-assisted and other specialized real-estate public offerings.
From 1993 to present, Mr. Henry has been the managing partner of Hampton Equity Management Inc. which primarily organizes financings and structures for: the acquisition, enhancement, development and disposition of various real estate opportunities in domestic and international markets on behalf of Hampton-Metrix Group.
Throughout his career Mr. Henry has established a reputation for developing innovative real estate and capital market offerings and alternative investment instruments. Mr. Henry currently is an active member on the boards of several public and private corporations.
Geoff Kritzinger, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kritzinger graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. He then spent four years with KPMG in Edmonton, obtaining his CA designation in 1986.
From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Kritzinger was a partner with Shimmerman Penn LLP, a midsized accounting firm in Toronto, where he managed a large audit practice, including public company clients in the junior mining sector and private companies in industries such as real estate, health care, manufacturing and distribution.
From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Kritzinger was Chief Financial Officer of Enquest Energy Services Corp.(ENQ-TSX.V), an oilfield services company with annualized revenues in excess of $150 million.
Mr. Kritzinger was also a member of the Practice Inspection Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario over 2007-2008.
Paul A. Chisholm
Property Management & Enhancement
Mr. Chisholm heads the residential property management & enhancement division of the Group.
Mr. Chisholm received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from York University, in Toronto and qualified as a Chartered Accountant while with KPMG in Toronto, Ontario. While in public practice Paul lectured as a teaching assistant in the MBA program at University of Toronto in his focused area of real estate. Later while with KPMG, Paul was on special assignment with the RCMP forensic department.
Mr. Chisholm is the managing partner of Berkley Property Management Inc., the residential property management associate of Hampton-Metrix Group, which currently manages over 9,000 residential units across Southern Ontario.
Presently, Mr. Chisholm is a Director of Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) and is an active member on the Board of Directors of several Condominium Corporations. Paul is also on the Board of The Emmanuel Convalescent Foundation, a non-profit organization for the rehabilitation of drug abuse and mental health patients.
Jeffrey T. Cox
Mortgage Financing & Real Estate Brokerage
Mr. Cox heads the mortgage & real estate brokerage division of the Group.
Mr. Cox received his Bachelor of Commerce degree with honours from McMaster University, in Hamilton and is a licensed Real Estate and Mortgage Broker in Ontario.
From 2002 to present, Mr. Cox has been a Partner and Vice President of Murray & Company, a commercial real estate finance and brokerage firm. Jeff advises on all the direct financing requirements of the Hampton-Metrix property portfolio, and at Murray & Company he acts on behalf of third party real estate developers, arranging conventional mortgages, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) insured loans, interim/bridge/term mortgages, joint ventures, and structured financings.
In 2013, the company arranged over $2 billion in financing on retail, industrial, office, multi-residential and hospitality real estate. Mr. Cox has successfully completed of $1 billion in real estate transactions.
Bachelor of Arts (Law) Honours
Mr. Armstrong was the Chief Executive Officer of Jovian Capital Corporation, which he founded in 2001, until the company was sold in 2013. He has been a leader in the Canadian financial services industry for over two decades. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Armstrong served as Managing Director and a Director of Altamira Investment Services Inc. He served as President and a Director of Altamira from 1987 to 1997.
Mr. Armstrong is past chair of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association.
Mr. Armstrong is active in various charitable organizations, both in Canada and Ireland, including the Canadian Opera Company and the Ireland Fund of Canada. Mr. Armstrong is also a director or advisory board member of a number of public investment funds.
